Jared won a cruise through work so we were able to go on a vacation without the kids. It was really hard leaving them, especially since Eli is only 5 months old. After I got a good cry out, I was fine for the rest of the vacation. It was a whole week, Sunday morning to Saturday night.

Our first day and a half were spent cruising so we wandered around and took pictures of ourselves and the captain.
He waved at us, we were super excited.
The very front of the boat was super windy. We were afraid our camera would blow away. My hair looked awesome, can'tcha tell?
Our room had a balcony facing the ocean. I was very proud of my glitter toes; we have lots of pictures of them.
Belize was our first stop where we went snorkeling and stopped at a "private" island that had lots of people and terrible sand. I don't know why cruise ships stop in Belize, it's a very dirty city. The only reason we could figure out is for scuba divers it's a great place to stop because it has a huge reef. The snorkeling was beautiful.
Joan was our resident fish, totally obsessed with the snorkeling it was very hard to get her out of the water. (Jess won the cruise too.)
When she wasn't in the water she was taking pictures constantly. I really need to get those pictures off her camera... And FYI we are NOT Utah State Aggies fans. When we were in a crowd I had a hard time finding Jess because I'm in such a habit of looking for him in a red shirt, not Aggie blue.
Costa Maya was our second stop and the one I was most excited about.
We got to do a dolphin encounter!!! We were in the water with them for almost an hour and it was so incredible. Jess and Joan were on a Mayan Ruins excursion and weren't able to take pictures of us, so I warned Jared that we would be paying whatever the price was for those pictures. It came to $80 for our 12 pictures on CD. I was actually surprised, that's less than $7 a picture.

Our final stop was in Cozumel. I don't have any pictures of that, but it was fun and pretty.

For our final day we cruised and lounged and read books. Now THAT'S a vacation.
We cannot thank my parents enough for taking such wonderful care of Halle and Eli. They did so great with them. So wonderful that upon my return Eli woke up in the middle of the night for 3 nights in a row, and he never did that for my mom. They had so much fun with my parents. We had VERY VERY slow internet connection on the boat so were only able to exchange emails once a day briefly, but it was great to hear that they were doing so well. Thanks, Mom and Dad.
