Here are some pictures from Disneyland! We actually flew there instead of driving since Jared was there for business and I didn't have a whole lot of vacation time left after going to Cancun. Jess and Joan were in San Diego, so while Jess and Jared went to a meeting Joan came with us to Disneyland. Halle was thrilled, as was Joan. Here we go.
Last time we went Halle knew for about two weeks that we were going to Disneyland. Everytime I would tell her to do something first then she would say, "Then go to Disneyland?" The night before she was a jumping bean on her bed. So this time we decided not to tell her until that morning as we were going to get on the plane. At first I'm pretty sure she thought we were liars. Then she started jumping up and down and was so excited, talking about all of the rides and characters she was going to see. It was adorable.

First ride! Think she's happy?

The Haunted Mansion was changed to a Nightmare Before Christmas theme. Jared loves this movie and when Halle was a baby the soundtrack was the only thing that would calm her screaming and put her to sleep in the car. This was the entrance. The inside was so awesome!

Last time we were there we couldn't find Pixie Hollow. Joan and I finally found it and waited 45 minutes to see Tinkerbell and her friend (I don't know her name).

Halle got her face painted (thanks, Grandma). She loved it! We paint her face all of the time at home, so she loved getting it done, especially with sparkles.

Halle loves Small World.

We saw lots of characters with grandma.

Halle loves the teacups.

And horsies.

She enjoyed the parade, but didn't want to go dance in the street or get a picture.

And so day 1 with grandma ended. Halle fell asleep as we walked to meet Jess and Jared, and oh man was she heavy. I'm glad Joan was there to help. Time for bed. More later. This is just the beginning.
