For Christmas I gave Jared a couple trip to Las Vegas. My mom was kind enough to come stay with the kids. She was exhausted just thinking about the coming weekend.

Patch is in there somewhere.

We went to the Wynn for the breakfast buffet. All of these colors are fresh flowers, and it's beautiful.

We stayed at Trump Tower. They happened to have the best deal, and weren't located directly on the strip, which was fine with us. It was close to the places we wanted to eat at and explore.

Jared then had a business golf trip to Arizona. The rest of us stayed home.

Then we headed to Disneyland and San Diego with my parents. Somehow we fit 7 people, everyone's luggage, a stroller, and coolers of food in our van.

After a 12 hour drive in horrible weather, David fell asleep moments before we got to the hotel

Eli got car sick and threw up a few times and finally fell asleep, also moments before we arrived.

Funny story about these shirts. Everyone's says my wife, daughter, or mom made we wear this shirt. Mine said I made my family wear these shirts. So a cast member stops Jared and asks to read his shirt, then says, "Ohhhhh! I thought it said you were the wife!" From then on we noticed that from a distance Jared's shirt just looks like it says "WIFE" and we laughed hysterically the rest of the day.

On to San Diego! Unfortunately, this was the last time we'd see Great Grandpa alive. We are SO grateful that we had that opportunity though. We don't go to San Diego often, so we felt so blessed that we had this time with him going to the Mormon Battalion Museum where he used to work and taking him out to breakfast. As a family we also went to the San Diego Zoo, and enjoyed time on the beach.
