Our Summer was very busy and SO fun! It started with a sleepover with cousin Ainslee who is 16 days older than Eli.

We went to the park for a picnic and swimming the next day.
Jared was out of town and Rameses missed him, so they talked via Face Time.

Summer is exhausting! (Yes, he’s asleep!)
Next was a girl’s trip with my mommy! We drove to Shoshone Falls, ate in Shoshone, then drove to Craters of the Moon National Park. From there we drove to Arco, ID (still the same day). We stayed the night in Arco at a KOA campground. I learned that my Grandpa Kline worked in Arco at the Nuclear Plant. He used to take a special shuttle from Idaho Falls to Arco everyday. Quite the commute.

Upon closer inspection, you’ll notice it’s a swim shop with a strange snorkeling mannequin in the window. It was weird.
Our first stop at Craters of the Moon was this hill. It was really steep. What we didn’t know, was that upon reaching the top of this steep hill, you had to go up a second equally steep hill. It sure was pretty at the top though!

After a night in Arco, we drove through Pocatello. My Great Uncle Jack owned Molinelli’s Jewelers there. When he died it was passed onto his kids and we still like to visit and get great discounts. That’s where we got our wedding rings and the majority of our jewelry. We did an unplanned side trip to Soda Springs where we ate lunch and watched the geyser. Then we drove to Minnetonka Cave for a super cool tour. Minnetonka Cave is HUGE and requires you to go up and down 400 stairs in, and the same 400 stairs back out. Next to Bear Lake to check in at another KOA campground and to a play called Juanito Bandito at Pickleville Theatre. After the play we slept in our little cabin and headed home in the morning.
It was a really awesome and fun trip.
The next day was our neighborhood yard sale where Halle and Emma prepare a ton of baked goods and sell them. They work really hard in the kitchen with me. I don’t do all the work myself baking, and love cooking with them. They sit outside for hours then they split the income.
The next day after this we drove to Moab, but I’ll save that and the rest of June for another post!

Jared and Rameses Face Timing cracked me up. So did your "cave eyes" picture. hahahaha Love it. You're making me wish summer were here! That looks like a great girl's trip.
