Cute Halle

My daughter is beautiful. One Sunday she was all dressed for church standing in the window looking at some birds outside. With the dark in the room and the light coming in from the window it just looked really pretty on camera.
Great Grandpa (Halle's only living great grandpa) came to visit from San Diego. Halle calls him Grandpa Great and I think it's adorable.
These pictures are from as far back as March, but I still wanted to share them.
We have season passes to the aquarium and she got to feed the sting rays with Alyvia.
These are just cute.
These are from when we told Halle I am pregnant. I was 9 weeks and my friend did an ultrasound for us so Halle could see and better understand when we told her. Before telling her we asked her to guess what it was she saw on the monitor in mommy's tummy. She guessed it was a chicken. We heard the heartbeat at the ultrasound, so after we got home she wanted to listen to the baby. She was certain it was burping. I'm pretty sure I was just hungry.

Lake Powell

We went to Lake Powell over Pioneer Day weekend. The weather was surprisingly nice. Hot, but not like 105 degrees hot. Halle was in the water for about 10 hours each day. My little fish.
Except when she was sleeping on Grandma Joan. She always had to be on her lap, I think it's because Joan's shirt was always wet and cool since she swims with it on, so it kept Halle nice and cool.
She and Jared went tubing.
The sunsets were beautiful and the moon looked amazing.
I looked pretty amazing too. Right?
Halle made "peanut butter pies".
And caught some fish with daddy.
Morrie looked cute (and Joan of course).
And we ate Oreos everyday.
Very fun vacation indeed.

Halle's Fourth Birthday

Somehow my baby grew up from this:
to this:
Don't ask me how or when it happened, it's all a blur. But she turned 4 on June 30th. She had a fairy garden party and I was so excited that most of the little girls came dressed up as fairies. Except this little guy.
We decorated flower pots and planted a flower.
We played pin the star on the magic wand.
We decorated magic wand cookies.
I also made flower and butterfly shaped cookies for party favors. I baked for hours the night before.
Ate cake.
And opened presents.
For her birthday Grandma Koren and Grandpa Dan got her a new bike back in May. She was an expert two wheel rider within about 2 weeks. I taught her in about 30 minutes after work in a skirt and sandals while pregnant. This is the little bike she was borrowing from a cousin. This is on May 17, the day she learned to ride the bike.
And this is the bike she got for her birthday.
Jared and I got her roller skates that she's been wanting for a few months.
(She opened them first thing in the morning so I could see her before I went to work. She has crazy hair in the morning.)
